MY CHILDHOOD DREAM
Makoto azuma working in his plant lab |
Today I read an article on CNN Travel(The Article: https://www.cnn.com/style/article/makato-azuma-botanical-sculptures/index.html). This article is about a Japanese Artist who in love with flowers which reminded me of my childhood dream job - a garden keeper.
I love nature, especially plants. Others then animals, plants don't move(they do move but really slow). As they don't move, I can enjoy the time to observe their design and structure.

When I serve at LSV(an orphan village located at Guangxi China), every morning after our morning prayer, we will spend about an hour to do gardening maintainers. Weeding, flower transplanting , trees reinforcement project, etc every day different.
Found It!!! |
LSV's Wilderness |
Sometimes you found nothing because when they not flowered they look just like a weed or you need to wait for them to grow enough before transporting. I missed the lifestyle of LSV!
The artist’s work is really innovative, he said he lives with flowers and plants. Same as Tord Boontje, he wants to treasure the natural beauty, differently he as an artist uses many innovative way at his work.
As a design student, I like how AMMK display his artwork, the color combinations with different types of plant created a good harmony of colours and shapes. Learn the techniques of artwork displaying and structure stacking.
Thank you for sharing your latest blog entry! I've never thought that flowers could be displayed until I watched the video you shared about Makoto Azuma. It's really mind-blowing. I'm also intrigued by your life in LSV, do share more on your blog, it seems like a fulfilling and meaningful adventure!
